Pelumi Nubi, the 28-year African Solo Traveler is the first woman to drive from London to Lagos in an adventure that started on January 30, 2024. She courageously navigated her extensive route, driving her distinct purple Peugeot 107 through the landscapes of 17 nations across Europe and West Africa.
Throughout her travels, Nubi was keen on sharing the encounters and narratives of those she met, with a special emphasis on amplifying the voices of solo Black female explorers. With a passport that boasts entry stamps from 80 countries, Nubi added more as she traversed different terrains, conquering several obstacles, including a major vehicular accident in March 2024.
